Berkeley Bowl doesn't seem to separate trash
I saw that all organic waste is mixed with plastic when I parked my car very close to the trashcan in Berkeley Bowl. I think the big places like this should recycle
What do other people think?

Looking for the name of a store
It's on College Avenue in Berkeley, between Alcatraz and the Rockridge BART station. It's actually up the street from Barclay's, if I recall correctly, or is at least on that side of the street and is also close to Cappezzio's (or however one spells that).
They sell housewares and neat little signs that you can hang up wherever, not to mention some framed artwork. The storefront is tiny. A few years ago my boyfriend and I purchased several signs there for our apartment.
I just need the name! Google isn't helping me since I don't have the address.

Missed connection on Telegraph.
Basically have a missed connection here, and it's something I'm kind of bummed out about. Just wondering if someone on ye olde LJ can help me. Don't know if I've ever regretted not talking to someone so much.
Looking for a girl I saw in Berkeley about a week ago walking downTelegraph near Amoeba. Beautiful, tall-ish young woman (early 20s?),with shoulder-length, bright blonde hair, done almost in a 50's bobstyle.
Her style was very much mod a la 1950's, straight solid coloreddress with red shoes and a small red handbag. Walked extremelyconfidently. I know I wasn't the only one with a turned head.
Please, I very much want to contact this girl. If anyone has any ideas, I would be really grateful.

Berkeley Anonymous Confession Board
It is a free blog site that anyone can post on while being completely anonymous. You can ask the most simple questions about Berkeley or college life, or get a little more open and even blog about personal stuff. There is nothing you can't say. It's a site that gives people the opportunity to express what they are thinking and get responses without worrying about what anyone else thinks about them personally...pretty cool.

Big Sur, and LA to San Fran
I'm driving from Los Angeles to San Francisco tomorrow, and thinking of taking CA 1N because I want to stop at McWays Fall in Big Sur. While I'm there, are there any places I should stop by that are close to the road (that won't exhaust me too much for the already lengthy trip)?
While I'm posting, can anyone recommend a good dinner place halfway between LA and San Fran, for the return trip?

Who cuts your hair?
I'm looking to do something a little different from what I have now, so ideally I'd like to hear about a stylist whose judgment you trust as well as whose skill you can vouch for. I'm happy to pay well for someone who comes well-recommended, but hey, good value is always a plus.
Extra awesome would be to find someone in north Berkeley, especially along Shattuck or down Solano or something else easy to bus to.

Does anyone here go to a dentist named Bruce Tran in Berkeley? I ask because I'm considering filing a complaint against him with the California dental board for shady/illegal practices. We were having problems with him, and then I went here
to see that we're clearly not the only ones. If you've been a patient of this guy, please drop me a line.
And if you haven't had him as a dentist, for the LOVE OF GOD stay far, far away!

Does anyone know where I can buy flavored Ramune in the East Bay? I want to buy a case of either the Peach or Lychee flavors. I know that Ranch 99 at Pacific East Market sells them both but I don't know if they sell them in bulk. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Can anyone make heads or tails of the Emergency Alert System Child Abduction Emergency being broadcast right now?
